Health Permit

In order to sell food in California and more specifically in the county of Los Angeles. Any food entrepreneur will need approval from the Public Health Department to do so. If you manufacture food to be retailed or wholesale, you will need to get a permit.

At DTLA Kitchens, we provide pre-approved kitchens so you can produce your food in a commercial environment and apply for a permit. We streamlined the process of applying for the permit so that you can be up and cooking in 10 days or less. Our onboarding team is in constant communication with the health department, in order to expedite the applications and get your approval in no time. 

Health permits are required for farmers market, pop-ups, one-time events, festivals, catering, private chefs, non-profit organization, home run businesses, food vehicles commissaries, and any activity involving the sale of food whether made on premises or in our facility.
